Schedule Maker is designed with your privacy in mind. We believe your scheduling data belongs to you, and we've built this tool to work entirely in your browser without requiring accounts or sending your schedule data to any servers.

Data Storage

All your data is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This includes:

• Manager names and roles
• Schedule assignments
• Custom shift times
• Your preferences (theme, settings)
• Rolling history for fairness calculations

This data never leaves your device. We cannot access, read, or recover your schedules.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how people use Schedule Maker. This collects anonymous, aggregated data such as:

• Page views and visit duration
• Country/region (approximate)
• Device type and browser
• Referral source

This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally. We use this to improve the app and understand which features are most valuable.

What We Don't Collect

• Your name, email, or contact information
• Employee/manager names from your schedules
• Schedule data or shift assignments
• Budget or financial information
• Any personally identifiable information

Cookies

Schedule Maker does not use cookies for tracking. We only use browser localStorage to save your preferences and schedule data locally on your device.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored in your browser, you have complete control. To delete all data:

1. Open Schedule Maker
2. Click the Settings gear icon
3. Click "Clear All Data"

Alternatively, clearing your browser's site data will remove all Schedule Maker data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Vercel: Hosts the application and provides anonymous analytics
• Google Fonts: Provides the Inter font family
• Tailwind CSS CDN: Provides styling

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect when changes were made.
